Food additive Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate (SAPP) is a commonly used acid regulator, used in the processing of bread, cake, shortbread, dough and other foods. The preparation of SAPP mainly comprises the following steps: 1. Synthesis of silica: Heat silicate and coal in a closed chamber to cause oxidation-reduction reaction to generate silica. 2. Synthesis of pyrophosphoric acid: heating phosphoric acid and coal to generate pyrophosphoric acid. 3. Synthesis of tetrahydrofuran: react coal with air at high temperature to obtain carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, and then react with hydrogen to generate tetrahydrofuran. 4. Synthesis of SAPP: Pyrophosphoric acid, silicon dioxide, tetrahydrofuran, water, hydrochloric acid and other substances are mixed and reacted to generate SAPP. The preparation principle of SAPP is to use the reaction of pyrophosphoric acid and silicon dioxide to generate pyrosilicic acid and its polymer. SAPP controls the degree of polymerization and molecular structure by controlling the reaction conditions, such as temperature, pH, reaction time and reactant addition sequence, so as to obtain products with specific properties. |
